Did you know that 60% of the adult human body is made up of water? * My mother always said: "If you are thirsty, you are already dehydrated". Is that true? I'm not sure, but I know that smoking will undoubtedly drain your lips, skin, body, etc. With the weather here on the east coast, we have put together all our tips and tips on how to stay hydrated inside and out!
Keep your lips smooth and hydrated with a simple DIY sugar scrub-> Mix 1 tsp coconut oil + 1 tsp sugar + ½ tsp honey in a small bowl once a week. Gently rub the peel over your lips 1 – for 2 minutes in a circular motion and rinse it out. Then use a thick lip balm or petroleum jelly and enjoy smooth, hydrated lips.

Face Oil- Try adding a face oil to your skin care regimen. Oil on my FACE, say WHAT ?! Wait, wait a minute Face oils have been used for years and have become more trendy in skin care lately. Coconut Oil- Use coconut oil as a makeup remover. Massage a small amount gently over your face, focusing on your eyes and lips. Gently wipe off oil and makeup with a clean, warm, damp washcloth. Wash and moisturize as usual.
Kaltes Wasser- This is an ancient beauty hack that I read at at . Joan Crawford swore. Simply splash your face with icy water 25 times. The cold water reduces swelling, constricts the pores and promotes blood circulation, so that your skin looks plump and hydrated.

It also feels good and after that your skin is so soft. Dry off after showering and apply lotion while your skin is still warm to include all of the moisturizer. You can also use coconut oil as a moisturizer for the body! Just make sure you let it absorb completely before sitting on your beautiful couch / bed, etc.
Feet- Soak your feet in warm water with your favorite bath salt or essential oil. Dry and foam in petroleum jelly, put on two pairs of clean socks, smoke a joint and go to sleep. Take off your socks in the morning to expose soft, damp feet.
Hands – Dry cracked skin on your hands? Give your hands some TLC with this simple trick! Just like you did with your feet up, take Vasaleane or a thick healing cream like THIS from First Aid Beauty and coat your hands heavily. Put on cotton gloves or clean socks and fall asleep. Take off your socks in the morning and enjoy your soft, wet hands.
On The Inside-
Invest in a good water bottle / cup. Make sure you get one that works best for you, as you should carry it around all day. You can get one that is stamped on the side so you can easily keep track of how much water you drink, or you can just do this calculation on the bottle you love. IE I have a 24 ounce cup, so I know I have to drink at least 3 full refills to achieve my daily water intake.

Swell bottles are great if you're looking for something Throw your backpack in. We also LOVE everything from Yeti! Yeti are not a leak and keep your drink cold / hot forever. They are more expensive, but if you are responsible enough not to lose it (no judgment, we are not ) t haha) they are 1000% worth the investment.
Hydrate in AM- Fill your bottle or cup with water, add some mint or lemon juice etc. and leave it on your bedside table. When you wake up, chug first. Stretch, sip, make your bed, chug, etc. If you make it to the kitchen to make your coffee, you've already had your first glass of the day!
Set temperature- Drinking room temperature Water is actually better for your digestion, helps with blood circulation and detoxification. Cold water shrinks your blood vessels, which can restrict your digestion. Our body prefers room temperature or warm water. We love to mix filtered water with warm water from a kettle with lemon juice and mint. It's like lukewarm tea and we feel it's much easier to drink.
Wasser IT down- Liebessaft? Simply pour ¼-½ glass of your favorite juice and replace the rest with water.
Suck It- Consider a cup / bottle with a straw for easy access. Both the Yeti and the Reduce mug have straw options or you can get reusable straws from Amazon.
